Urban Country Furniture was designed to meet the demand for a more "sleek" line of furniture that was contemporary in nature. This line of furniture features a unique foot and a bevel crown moulding on cupboards. Doors are framed with flat panels and drawer faces are flat slab in construction. All Urban Country furniture comes with wood knobs for both doors and drawers.
Our Sinclair Furniture further refines the "relaxed sophistication" found in our Urban Country items. This line of furniture features a unique square foot with framed flat panel doors and slab drawer construction. It also comes with the same wood knobs for both drawers and doors as our Urban Country furniture. The Sinclair line of furniture is robust and linear in appearance. Our Sinclair bed is available with optional upholstered headboard insert.
Our Kylie Collection represents the continuing evolution of our Urban Country designs. More elegant than our other lines, these pieces feature more refined details and require the density of a hardwood to provide the strength needed. As a result this line is only available in maple. The Kylie collection of cabinets and cupboards features beaded door and drawer openings, reversed profile flat panel doors and flat slab drawer face construction. This line also features an applied beaded moulding around the bottom of the cabinet body and just above the tapered Kylie foot. High quality hardware in either antique brass or brushed nickel finishes this collection off. The Kylie dining table has more slender legs than our other designs and is constructed with a 1/4" kerf around the top of the skirt. This unique detail makes the table top appear to "float" above the leg.
Our Shaker Collection features traditional "form meets function" design. It emphasizes straight lines and is elegant in its simplicity. Shaker cupboards feature a 45 degree cut out on the base and wood knobs on doors and drawers. Shaker doors are framed with flat panels while drawer faces are slab construction. All drawer boxes are dovetailed front and back. Our Shaker tables feature a tapered leg and 1 1/4" tops.
The Canadiana line of furniture is strongly influenced by antique furniture designs found inUpperCanada in the early 1800's. Canadiana pieces feature applied bead moulding under the crown, a cut out plinth base, framed raised panel doors and raised panel profile drawer faces. Drawer hardware consists of half moon pulls in either antique brass or brushed nickel with wood knobs on all doors.
